"Baytelman's pianism is beyond sound: in the faster segments of music, it quickly becomes clear that she has technique to burn. Nothing she encounters in this music causes even the slightest break in flow...She is just as impressive in slower passages. Her melodies are full, lovingly shaped, and always perfectly balanced with the accompanying voices. Her control over sound, in combination with her gift for rubato, creates a series of vivid souncscapes that start at the opening flourish of the first track and last for the duration." (American Record Guide)
"Pola Baytelman's pianistic prowess and interpretive mastery are in full bloom here. ...This superbly engineered, imaginatively curated collection is well worth owning." (Listen)

Review:
"The finesse [Pola Baytelman] has in approaching the music is excellent, most notably because many of the moments require a sure hand navigating many of the rhythmic ideas and precise articulations throughout the repertoire."
